Innovation Corridor

Calling all students, faculty, principal investigators, early-stage companies, and entrepreneurs – submit a topic and abstract of your work for a poster presentation at the Biotech 2010 Innovation Corridor. The Innovation Corridor offers you the opportunity to:

  • Showcase your cutting-edge research
  • Interact with the mid Atlantic region's top bioscience executives, companies, investors, and institutions
  • Receive feedback on your poster from a panel of experts in the areas of scientific, legal, business, and investment
  • Compete with other presenters to receive a one-on-one evaluation from the panel of experts
  • Receive a discounted rate for one presenter of only $100 – this includes participation in the Innovation Corridor and other Biotech 2010 sessions on the day of your poster presentation


The abstract submission deadline is September 13, 2010

The Biotech 2010 Innovation Corridor provides a unique opportunity for presenters to share their research, aimed at solving problems and addressing needs, with industry leaders focused on key issues facing the bioscience industry. The objective of the session is to foster world-class collaborations among academia, early-stage research organizations, and industry.

Topics:


The poster should describe your research or development efforts to provide bioscience-based solutions to unmet needs in areas that can include, for example, therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and green technologies.  The poster should also include citations listing presentations and publications. 


Abstract Submission Procedure:

  • Poster topics and abstracts can be submitted by e-mail to management@biotech2010.org
  • Please e-mail management@biotech2010.org or call 800.273.0369 with any questions.
  • Authors should bring their poster content material to Biotech 2010 and will be responsible for mounting their display.


A panel of judges will conduct a peer-review of all submissions and determine acceptance into the Innovation Corridor. Your abstract may be published in a handout for Biotech 2010 even if it is not chosen to be presented as part of the Innovation Corridor.


Registration:

There will be a $100 registration fee for one presenter per poster if you are accepted to present.  This registration fee has been offset by the generous support of AstraZeneca.  This fee will allow you to participate in the Innovation Corridor and attend the full day’s events only on the day that you are scheduled to present.
